Shereen Ahmed (she/her) recently starred as Franca in City Center Encore’s production of The Light in the Piazza. Other select credits include Broadway/Nat’l Tour: My Fair Lady (Eliza); Off-Broadway: Classic Stage Company’s A Man of No Importance (Adele), Irish Rep’s Meet Me in St. Louis (Esther). On the concert stage, Ahmed made her Carnegie Hall debut in spring 2023 starring as Iolanthe in Gilbert & Sullivan’s Operetta, Iolanthe. She was invited as a guest speaker for the United Nations 14th Conference of States Parties and has been recognized as one of ’40 Under 40′ accomplished Arab Americans in the U.S. for her work in the theatre.
