This holiday season, throughout the run of A Sherlock Carol, the Playhouse will be giving back to our community. Your donation and support will significantly bring joy and comfort to the individuals and families in need.

Now, through December 22nd, donations can be dropped off in our lobby during a show or anytime the Box Office is open.

Domestic Violence Crisis Center

The Playhouse is proud to work with the Domestic Violence Crisis Center, now through December 22nd, during our run of A Sherlock Carol. Your support will significantly bring joy and comfort to the individuals and families they serve. Items can be dropped off in our collection box in our lobby when you visit. Specific items of need:

Gift cards:

Denominations of $10 or $15.

These allow their clients to purchase what they need most, providing a sense of independence and normalcy.

Tween & Teen Gifts:

Fidget gadgets, art supplies, earbuds, headphones, small personal speakers, playing cards, or puzzles.

Specific Needs:

Baby Diapers Sizes 4-7 & Baby Wipes

Daily Essentials: Body wash, body lotion, floss, toothbrushes & toothpaste, feminine products.

Kitchen Basics: Reuseable plates, bowls, cups, dinner utensils, and plastic kids’ spoons or forks.

Comfort & Care: Cotton bath towels, blankets, waterproof bed cover Twin Xl, Crib fitted sheets.

Norwalk Toys for Tots

The Playhouse is an official drop site for Norwalk Toys for Tots, now through December 22nd, during our run of A Sherlock Carol. Through the gift of a new toy, help bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America’s less fortunate children. Toys will be distributed locally in Norwalk, Fairfield, and Westport.

Specific items of need:

New, unwrapped toys and books.

Areas of Need: Books (All ages in Spanish and Haitian Creole), Toys for Newborns ( Teethers and Rattles), Teenagers (up to 18)
