Nya Sanaa Fedrick (Nadia) is a young actress from Naugatuck CT, excited to be joining this powerful initiative! She trained in theatre at the Waterbury Arts Magnet School (2019 graduate), and for three years at Western Connecticut State University. While studying, she could be seen in performances at various community theaters in CT. A few include Hairspray as Little Inez (Thomaston Opera House), August Wilson’s Fences as Raynell (Ridgefield Theater Barn), and Colmon Domingo’s Dot as Averie (Brookfield Theater for the Arts). Nya has also participated in a variety of film projects, some of which spread awareness of serious topics such as anxiety and suicide prevention. As a huge mental health advocate, she is excited to continue to spread hope, love, and encouragement to everyone with the Westport County Playhouse debut of “Scaredy Kat Presents”.
