This spring the Playhouse launched “Barnstormers”, a new series of small events in the Lucille Lortel White Barn, located adjacent to the Playhouse.
From cabarets to playreadings, Barnstormers provide an opportunity for artists, many of whom are from the local community, to exercise their creative muscle in a cozy setting. These smaller events allow for a more intimate experience with artists at the Playhouse.
Unreserved seating for 70 people; nominal admission fee.

PAST BARNSTORMERS
How It Started…
In September of 2023, we were thrilled to welcome Laurence Maslon to the Playhouse to celebrate the publishing of his book I’ll Drink to That! The event, featuring performances by Joe Delafield, Kristen Hahn, and Maggie Lacey, was a great success and inspired us to find smaller, more intimate events to present in the barn. And thus, the Barnstormer Series was created!
